Recent Projects

This is one of the more recent refurbishment jobs. A lovely Corona Folding Model Three, featuring the rest key! The "rest" key (located on the bottom right of the machine) was offered in Corona Typewriter Co. Inc.'s "Corona Accessories" pamphlet in the 1920's. The rest key was sold for just 25 cents! (approximately $4.08 today!)They were especially designed for touch typists that needed somewhere to rest their pinky finger, as the corona three featured a very compact keyboard. Most say the Corona three was one of the first ultra-portable typewriters ever made!
